Role

Shall preside at all meetings of the League Membership and at all meetings of the league of Representatives, shall serve as the Chief of the League, shall be an ex-officio member of all standing and special committees, and shall perform such other duties as are normally associated with the office of head Chief. Direct interface with the Interlocking Leagues and PONY National representatives.

Shall perform such duties as may be assigned by the Chief, shall otherwise assist the Chief in the performance of the Chief's duties, and shall preside at meetings in the absence of the Chief. This position is responsible for all items representative of the game of Baseball (Leagues Matters, Manager/Coaches, Bylaws, etc)

Plans, organizes, and supervises the operation of division play, from the application stage through regular & post-season play. Ensures that the league complies with Pony policy and procedures. Develops game schedules, co-ordinates the post season tournament process, and develops and implements tournament format. Acts as the league representative to the league of representatives, and liaison to other staff functions, such as Publicity, Communication, etc. Acts as protest committee and rules committee member on an as- required basis.

Shall develop and maintain League Website, update rosters, teams, field directions, schedules, scores, etc. Control content for website. Work with Communications and Tournament Representatives to ensure website information is accurate and up to date.

Shall have custody of all other records of the League, shall keep an accurate record of the meetings and other activities of the League and of the representatives, shall be responsible for all correspondence on behalf of the League, and shall transmit all records and correspondence to any person elected to succeed him or her in that office. Assists League Content Representative with league website communications and information.

Shall secure facility to host League Playoffs and Championships (ongoing) and work with facility staff in a coordinated effort. Will develop format and tournament schedule, manage tournament with the assistance of volunteers, communicate scores and updates during tournament via the website and other communication options available.  Umpires, First Aid, etc.

Will supervise the annual registration of League candidates for the division he/she represents, co-ordination and conduct of teams and leagues, distribution of teams among Divisions and shall maintain any roster of eligible players assigned to teams.
